Safely welcoming you back inside
14 May 2021
Over the past few weeks, we have been delighted to be able to safely re-open our outdoor seating areas in England and Wales and both our indoor and outdoor seating in Scotland. After such a long time apart, we are thrilled to have played host to thousands of people meeting up with their friends and families for the first time in many months.
Following an update from the Government earlier this week we are pleased to confirm that all indoor seating areas across our stores in England and Wales will reopen on Monday (17 May). This means that you will now be able to enjoy your favourite Costa coffee both in store or sat outside, wherever you are in the UK.
Ensuring the safety of customers and team members
As ever, the safety of our store team members and customers remains our number one priority. Just like last year when we reopened our indoor seating, our stores will continue to look and feel a little different. Our stores may have limited seating available so we can help ensure everyone is following social distancing, and tables will be available on a first come first served basis. We are also required to ask all customers looking to use our seating areas, including those ordering via Click & Collect on the Costa app, to provide their contact details in support of NHS contact tracing services. We continue to work hard to keep everyone safe, and you can read more about our latest safety measures here.
Thank you for your continued support
As lockdown continues to ease, I remain incredibly grateful to all our customers for the support you have shown to Costa over the past year. I also want to send special thanks to our amazing Costa Coffee team, from our Baristas and Costa Express team members, to our partners and suppliers. Thank you for all your work and commitment during such challenging times, helping us to continue to safely serve our customers their favourite Costa coffee across the UK.
From all of us at Costa Coffee, we look forward to seeing you soon.
