The capsule in use will be ejected into the capsule drawer, and Indicator B will flash red while an audible alarm sounds to signal the interruption. After refilling the water tank, press any illuminated button to initiate a system purge and reset the alarm. The machine will then be ready for a new capsule to be inserted. For Podio X2 and X3: Follow the on‑screen instructions when prompted.

For Podio X1: The capsule drawer holds up to 16 capsules. When full, a red light flashes and the machine stops dispensing until the drawer is emptied. The counter resets each time the capsule drawer is removed. For Podio X2: The capsule drawer holds up to 30, follow the prompts on the screen. First, check that the machine has sufficient milk and water, or if the unit is plumbed in that the water supply is functioning correctly. Try inserting a new capsule, as the existing one may be blocked. If the issue continues, perform a rinse and clean cycle. Should the problem persist, run a full descaling procedure following the instructions provided in the operator manual.

A common reason for unexpectedly cool drinks is pouring into cold crockery. If the cup or glass hasn’t been pre-warmed, it can absorb heat from the drink, lowering its temperature noticeably. We recommend warming your cup or glass before use - especially for espresso or smaller-volume drinks. If the issue persists even with pre-warmed crockery, it may be due to limescale build-up affecting the machine’s heating performance. In that case, please complete a full descale. If the problem continues after descaling, contact your machine supplier for further assistance.

Please ensure that the water tank and the water filter (if fitted) are securely installed, fully refilled, and correctly seated. Use cold, non‑carbonated water. Check that the blue seal on the water filter is not obstructing the water inlet holes. If your machine is plumbed in, please ensure that the water supply is functioning correctly. If the issue persists, please contact your supplier for further assistance.

The machine is about to perform an automatic rinse. Please make sure the espresso cup stand or flat drip tray is correctly positioned to catch the rinse water. Once the cycle is complete, empty the tray to prevent overflow or mess.

The machine is heating up.

When a machine alarm occurs, an alert screen will appear on the display. This indicates that the machine cannot continue operating until the issue is resolved. Press the alarm prompt on the screen for further instructions on how to resolve.

There’s no need to switch your machine off. The Podio X1 automatically enters standby after 60 minutes of inactivity and can be easily re‑activated by inserting a capsule or pressing any button. The Podio X2 and X3 are designed to stay on so they’re always ready to serve and able to receive important updates.

For Podio X2, make sure your milk BiB is in position and connected, the bag is not twisted or restricting flow, and the water tanks have sufficient water in them. For Podio X3:The milk tank is empty. Check the milk tank in the fridge and refill with cold milk if empty. Ensure that the container is pushed fully back into the fridge and the connector is inserted properly.

Turn the machine off at the power switch, wait for 10 seconds and turn back on. If the problem continues, reach out to your supplier for further assistance.

If a capsule becomes stuck, simply reboot the machine. Restarting allows the internal mechanism to reset and usually clears the issue.

Symbols that appear at the bottom of the main Attract screen indicate the current maintenance status of the machine. These can include simple warnings or blocking alerts. Blocking alerts may prevent the machine from dispensing drinks that require milk until the required maintenance action has been completed. Press the icon to learn more about how to resolve.
