Follow the recipe below to create creamy coffee fudge guaranteed to impress.

Flat White Fudge

Create creamy coffee fudge that will impress friends and family at your next gathering. Made with our Flat White Cans, this recipe is easy to master and takes just minutes to whip up.

  • 1 x 250ml Costa Flat White Can

  • 4tsp Costa Smooth Medium Roast Instant Coffee

  • 1 x 397g can condensed milk

  • 450g demerara sugar

  • 115g butter

  • 2tbsp coffee liqueur, optional

Method:

1. In a large saucepan, pour in the Costa Flat White Can and then stir in the Costa Smooth Medium Roast Instant Coffee.

2. Add the condensed milk, sugar and butter.

3. Put the saucepan on a low heat, until the butter has melted, and the sugar has dissolved.

4. Bring the mixture to a gentle boil for 10-15 minutes, stirring constantly to prevent it catching on the bottom of the pan.

5. To test when the mixture is ready, drop a ½ tsp into a bowl of ice-cold water – if it forms a soft, round ball that doesn’t stick to your fingers then it’s perfect!

6. Remove the pan from the heat, leave to cool for 5 minutes. Stir in the coffee liqueur if using.

7. Beat the mixture until it loses its shine and becomes thick, approximately 5-8 minutes. The longer you beat it, the crumblier the fudge will be.

8. Transfer the fudge into a 20cm square tin lined with baking parchment. Using the back of a spoon, press the mixture until evenly spread.

9. Leave to set before cutting into squares and tucking in!
