To mark the fact that at least 30% of our Mocha Italia blend now comes from Rainforest Alliance Certified™ farms, pavement artist Manfred Stader caused a stir in Covent Garden by creating a giant coffee cup.

The giant 3D image of the cup was created by the German artist using just chalk and coffee roasting waste product.

John Derkach, Managing Director of Costa, said: "As the UK's largest and fastest growing coffee shop chain, we believe we have a responsibility to ensure that coffee production is sustainable, that it supports coffee growing communities and protects the environment."
